Experience the very best of Senja on a full-day adventure that combines famous highlights of the National Scenic Route with hidden spots away from the crowds. We include short, optional walks at selected locations — designed for exploration and photography, not mountain hiking.
Designed specifically for the longer days of summer and autumn, this 8-hour tour offers a deeper, more balanced way to explore Senja — beyond the viewpoints and into nature itself.
Travel in a rugged 4×4 vehicle along parts of the National Scenic Road, stopping at some of Senja’s most iconic locations such as Bergsbotn viewing platform, Tungeneset, Ersfjordstranda, and other carefully selected viewpoints. Towering mountains, dramatic coastlines, and quiet fjords unfold along the way, offering constantly changing scenery.
Start your Arctic adventure in Finnsnes — the gateway to Senja
Our tour begins at 09:00 at Finnsnes Kai, perfectly timed with the morning ferry arrival from Tromsø. From here, we set off in one of our comfortable 4×4 cars, designed to explore both scenic roads and more remote areas of the island.
The tour lasts approximately 8 hours, allowing us to explore Senja at an unhurried pace.
Along the way, there is plenty of time for short walks, photography, storytelling, and quiet moments immersed in nature.
We return to Finnsnes around 17:00, leaving you with perfect time to catch the evening ferry back to Tromsø.
