While the days are still long and perfect for hiking, overlanding, and camping, you’ll get the chance to admire the sky’s stunning hues as the sun briefly dips below the horizon. This expedition offers a rare opportunity to witness the beautiful transition from the midnight sun to the enchanting Arctic sunsets.

Autumn Expedition in late September offers the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility on Senja Island. As the polar days come to an end, you’ll experience long, mild days ideal for hiking and exploring the stunning landscapes and finally starry night with chance of experience Northern Lights. September is the best autumn month on Senja, boasting a very short but incredibly beautiful fall season with vibrant foliage that transforms the island into a colorful paradise.
